Describe the change you want

Tell us whether the project involves a kitchen, bathroom, floor, fireplace or backsplash. Explain what is not working today and which finishes you want to keep. Inspiration images can help communicate the result you are aiming for.

Make preparation part of the plan

Old tile removal, surface repairs, shower base work and other preparation can affect the sequence of a remodel. Hidden conditions are not always visible in photographs. Discuss how any additional work found during preparation will be reviewed before proceeding.

Coordinate materials and access

Confirm which materials you are supplying and what needs to be ordered. Discuss delivery, access to the room, nearby surfaces that need protection and any other trades involved. Avoid setting an installation date around materials that have not yet been confirmed.
